We love Decathlon at Mirdiff City Centre! Kids get to play. Staff are really nice. Lots of choices and a spacious area. Vierte has a ball collection (we would always leave a sports store with a ball or two) which started when we arrive here in Dubai. And so we left decathlon with a bag of football goodies for V! and he insisted we go to the park and so he could wear his uniform.
One more month to go and we’ll be celebrating Vierte’s birthday. Party will be held a week after his big day at McDonalds on a Cowboy theme. a few updates*He blabbers a lot of sounds now to express himself when his happy, sad or annoyed. “mama nanan” – he’s hungry for milk“ahh ho” – as if whispering when he hears cat purrs and dog barks“mam mam” – says this out loud during meal time, he’s way of asking for water.*sobrang likot na! he crawls from around the house from the sala to our room. There are times that he doesn’t want to be carried and would cry till we leave him alone in his mat and stand by his toy box or the piano to reach out for the keys.*when inside his playpen he throws toys out of the pen and waits till the toy settles then picks a new one to throw. probably experimenting gravity? hehehe*lately he’s been choosy with his food, refuses to eat 1 kind of for the week. everyday we have …

Vierte turned 7 months today!happy 7 months Vierte….happy 7 months….happy 7 months….happy 7 months Vierte! 7 things about our little man1) he smile’s alot now! before kasi pag nakita nya yung camera or cellphone poker face na agad ngayon when we say “Vierte smile” smile agad1 2) from nakadapa kaya nya na mag sit down! just this morning I saw him do it!3) he prefers his food in cubes rather than mashed, gusto nya may nakakagat sya. I’m thankful na hindi naman mahirap pakainin favorite nya Kalabasa, Sayote, Watermelon, and Kamote!4) he cries pag may sumisigaw or malakas ang boses, tahimik kasi dito sa bahay5) he sleeps on his tummy kahit anong gawing ikot to his back balik roll to his tummy sya6) he listens when we read stories or show him abc flashcards7) pag mainit ulo nya we just play peek-a-boo wala na agad ang topak!
lying on our bed while Vierte takes his morning “nanan” I fell asleep after a while I noticed that he was still awake and was playing with his handsthen…I woke and Vierte was not beside me! At the foot of the bed their I found him, his head lying on her Tita’s laptop bag his hands grabbing the handle while half his body was in bed, susme! I immediately grab him then he started to cry and laugh afterwards.Thanks to his angels nothing bad happened.
We think Vierte likes anything that is cold, he prefers that we serve him cold mashed veggies paired with a cold water. Here’s a video of him eating watermelons after dinner
Last month I’ve started searching the internet for some baby food recipe’s and all about introducing solid food. This site is very informative on baby food, how to’s, and recipe’s.See, the moment I learned that I was pregnant I have decided to breastfeed and prepare his food myself and would try my best not to rely on milk formula and store bought baby food.This week Vierte turned 6 months, which also means he can now start really eating with us on the table. When he reached 4mo, he would hungrily stare at us during mealtime which would always temp his lola bing to let him taste some fruit, veggies and even ice cream kasi “kawawa naman ang bata”. Coy’s spent the morning of his flight packing things. Vierte decided that he can join daddy at work. As much as his Dad want’s to bring him to work with him, we have to pay for excess baggage as Vierte is 4kilos heavy 🙂
