Too early for Valentines? Maybe. Too early to make something special? No.
LittleMiss’: “Mama, where my boy’s?”
She specifically calls her big brother “boy or boys.” As soon as she see’s Kuya V’s school bus she would declare “My boy’s is here! Hey, boys look my toy.”
We made this paper plate heart’s for our boy’s.
Things you need:
- Paper plates
- paint brush
- red water color
- scissors
- glue
- mini ornaments
- glitters
How to make Paper Plate Hearts:
Ask your LittleOne to paint the paper plates. We used a hair filter bought at a dollar store as a stencil, it turned out so pretty.
Let it dry.
Fold paper plate in half and cut out a heart shape.
Dab a glue and design your heart.
Poke a hole on top of the heart and on the border. Insert a string.

They are cute! not too early to make Valentiney stuff. Time flies. Few weeks and Vday is here and you have to be ready!
Love to read the Kuya word. I don’t know but I just miss it. Sometimes I was thinking I should’ve use tagalog in the house as well as I miss using it.

These look so pretty! And I just love her use of ‘boys’ for big brother 🙂
A great valentines activity for little ones and just the kind of thing we love to do at home. #letkidsbekids
These are great, I’m definitely going to do them with my little girl. She refers to her brothers as her boys 🙂 #letkidsbekids
Excited to see your craft! People often stop and stare when they hear her call out “boys..boys..where you?” Hehe
