2015 Bento Week: August 31 – September 3

First week of school.

Yay!

Goodbye summer.

Boo!

It was a tough first week of school for this Mama, my mind and body was not ready for the super early wake-up alarm. Boohoo!  Kuya V is definitely excited to see his school friends and to learn a new language – French.

We survived the first school week and back to sharing our weekly baon / bento. I post our daily bento on our instagram account, make sure you follow us.

Monday

Bento1501

Kuya V requested to bring pack rice in his thermos container because he wanted to have warm food for school. Today’s baon consists of steamed jasmine rice, vegetable meatballs, teriyaki sauce, apples and chocolate chip cookies. Lunchbox used goodbyn and thermos.

Tuesday

Bento1502

I prepared for Tuesday lunch the day before by baking some muffins. Today’s baon consists of Baymax spam and cheese sandwich, diced apples, banana muffin, chocolate chip cereals and yakult. We packed it in our Planetbox Rover.

Wednesday

Bento1503

I woke up an hour late, good thing baon was prepared last night that I just need to move it to Kuya V’s lunchbox. Preparing ahead of time is really important. We have minced meat vegetable basket, pretzel squares and yakult.

Thursday

Bento1504

Today, I went on bento strike with Kuya V because he chose to eat donuts and sugar cookies from friends instead of the ones I prepared for him. He went to school with 2 packs of oreo cookies and water. LittleMiss is beyond excited (I’m not!) to start school and she has been asking for school food as well, she helped me cut out her bread, cheese and spam.

Follow us on instagram for our daily baon post. See you there!
