To stimulate Vierte and make learning fun, we bought him an activitot mini gym. At first he was just lying on the mat and observing those cute animals hanging infornt of him. Now at 4 months he reaches out on each toy and gives out a big smile when he manages to hold on to them. and now he’s found a sleeping buddy and playmate..daffy duck a gift from his Ninong Bong O. part of his daily playtime is reading book, a favorite one is “Make Elmo giggle” an interactive one. We also read him “green eggs and ham”

the little man just met his Lolo Bernard last week and he got a lot of goodiesproud Lolo gushes the the little man is no cry baby. 🙂 and hopes he stays as “mabait” as he is now when he grows. we hope that his lolo would be able to come home for his 1st bday.we also managed to squeeze in a photoshoot for them, I’ll post pictures of that one on a different post.Vierte reacts more now when he’s being talked to and really listens when we read stories to him. will post more later.

Sleep through the night

Vierte sleeps beside me since we got home. He has a crib which was inherited from my cousins and a new one as well a gift he got when he was baptized. When Coy was home for the holidays he insisted that Vierte sleeps on his crib and not with us but I refused too since I can’t sleep well when he’s on the crib. I tend to wake-up every five minutes to check on him and when its feeding time i would have to get up and get him. With him sleeping beside me feeding time is easy, I just need to give him his “nanan” right there and there both of us lying in bed, I get better sleep but not that long deep sleep I wish I could have. I haven’t notice though if he’s now able to sleep through the night as when I sense him moving I either give him a hug or feed him. It would be ideal if he sleeps in his crib though just so he won’t …

Photoshoot at Blow-up Babies

during my pregnancy I so wanted to have a photoshoot but coy declined since we need to save and when we inquired at Blow-Up babies it was quite expensive. Last December though I managed to get Coy’s approval and we headed to Gateway mall for the photoshoot. This is our first as a family and first for Vierte as well. The shoot was really expensive that Coy commented this be done on a yearly basis only unless I get to find another studio who does the same thing at a lower cost. Initially I planned to take Vierte monthly but can’t kasi no extra money for it. Anyway below are the photos that we had printed out. this is the only shot out of the 10 taken of us three that Vierte faced the camera. we had a hard time making him smile. He was annoyed with the camera flash so all we got was a grumpy and poker face. oh well it still turned out good.

our Vierte is 3 month old today

little man,at this stage you are becoming more aware of those around you and recognize us as well. for the two weeks that mommy has been back to work there where 3 incidents that you woudn’t want me to let go of you. when I pass you on to your Tita Badette or Yaya Michelle you scream and cry. you’re also becoming more talkative and would sometimes reply (“wooo” “aaaa”) when a question is being asked. one day I got a call from your Tita since you wouldn’t stop crying, even your favorite rattle didn’t calm you down, but when you heard my voice you stopped crying, that incident made me want to just leave the office and cuddle you.we noticed you staring at your hands and doing the “close-open” gesture which surely made your Lola Bing happy as she is claiming as the one who taught you. you have also taken comfort in sucking your fingers which mostly happens when you’re hungry or is about to sleep.you sleep longer at night now.when lying flat …

Poopy Problem

Vierte poops on a regular basis for the first 2 months but as he entered his 3rd month he poops after 4 to 5 days. According to the pedia one reason for this is that he’s water intake is less, she even suggested that if he refuses to drink water we can put a little maple syrup in it.And so we did but still it didnt make him poop.First he pooped after 3 days then 4 then 5. I read on justmommies that its normal for breastfed babies to have fewer bowel movements.Vierte pooped today after 5 days of none. He woke up at 430am grumpy, so i had him sit at my tummy and viola he did one! poop time!
