*This is a part of a series post about our family trip to Hong Kong.
We were all looking forward to spend the day at Disneyland Resort. Everyone was up early willing to skip breakfast and go straight to one of the happiest place on earth! Plus, all 5 kids received a shopping money from Lola Let.
Weather that day was unforgiving, it was hot and unpredictable rain showers that kept LittleMiss and I from exploring. That didn’t stop LittleMan V from exploring the whole resort with his Tito, Aunts and cousin Ate CJ.
LittleMan V also experienced his very first big boy amusement ride – Space Mountain – which he did with Ate CJ and Tita Crist. I’m not allowed to post the candid photo taken during the ride but it was so funny. V still talks about the ride as if he just did it minutes ago.
I know that the trip to Disneyland Resort was mainly for the kids but you see I was really prepared I had a small notebook for the Princesses’ to sign on and really looking forward to have a photo taken with Daisy Duck. Alas! I was not able to have a photo op with any of the Princess or Daisy Duck!
Why? LittleMiss refuse to leave the cool comfort of the restaurant, only allowed Mom & Dad to care for her and she was practically attached to my boob feeding.
Luckily, we did manage to have a family photo with Goofy.
I made my husband promise to take me and the kids (probably when LittleMiss is 5yo) back to Disneyland, for me to resolve my issues of not having any photo with Daisy & Donald Duck and have the Disney Princesses sign our little notebook. There was not a whole lot of Daisy Duck merchandise and that made me sad too.

Sounds like you had a fab day! If it makes you feel any better, my Little Mister would have just been on the boob feeding all day too 😉 #MagicMoments
Lol! If I allow LittleMiss she can survive one day without any solid food as long as she has free boob access. Thanks for dropping by!
Aw, lovely photos – but that is said about Daisy Duck! I can’t wait to take our babies to Disney World but it’s hard to know when is the right age x
I think 3 is the best age since they are able to express what they want and recognize characters well.
Aww this is where I first met my husband> HK! A very very important place for me. My go to country for vacation. And we spent the best days of our lives there before we got married in the Philippines. My dream to bring my son there so that he can experience what we did experience before =) #magicmoments
Looks like a great time, at least not getting your picture with them means you get to go back 😉 We were going to go this year and my worry was not being able to see everyone the kids loved, looks like it’s the same for everyone #magicmoments
My advise is to start early and check schedules so you all know what’s up next. Hope the weather isn’t too humid or rainy. How old are your kids?
This looks like a lovely family trip! It’s a shame you didn’t get to see Daisy Duck, but hopefully when you return you’ll get the chance.
That’s going to be on top of our list – to have a photo with Daisy Duck.
