LittleMiss Chloe wakes-up every morning at around 6:30 am just in time to kiss Daddy & Kuya V goodbye, after that we either play a little or she asks for nanan and go back to sleep.
That morning was different, LittleMiss and Kuya played while waiting for Daddy to finish dressing up for work. After saying our bye’s, she told me “No nappy Mama.” I arranged a mat under her blanket and allowed her to sleep without any nappy. She has been refusing to wear either cloth diaper or disposables for a few days now – maybe we are ready to potty train.
I went out the bedroom and proceeded to do my house chores. A few minutes later she went out with a disposable in one hand and stood at the corner of our sofa.
“Love, do want nanan?”
“Mama will carry you?”
I just stood behind her, scared that she might fall in her back because…
…she was really sleeping. After 30 minutes spent in that corner she moved to the play area making funny sounds. Every time I stare or talk to her she would cry and say no.
I sat on the sofa and watched the news.
Finally! she was able to let go of something she has been holding on for two days. I picked up few blobs – a smelly reminder that she was a growing girl – and when I came back from the loo.
She was playing with Kuya V’s trailer truck as if nothing happened. A few minutes later she approached me with a big smile.
“Mama, nanan sleep please.” (holding a disposable nappy in one hand

Oh bless her Abigail – how lovely she just found a corner to have a nap in! It’s funny the things they do when they’re younger, POD used to strip a lot! Thanks for sharing with #whatsthestory
My husband and I had a good laugh observing silly little things they do. Thanks for dropping by.
Aww that is so cute. They can be really determined little things can’t they?
They sure are! Whatever it is she has to do to get it out of her system makes me happy. 🙂 Thanks for dropping by!
She is so quirky! #whatsthestory
Hehe She is!
Ah that’s such a sweet post! She sounds like a girl who knows her own mind 🙂
She is a strong-willed girl, quite different from her elder brother.
Thanks for dropping by!
Haha, potty training would be easy but you’ll get there! And she’s so adorable 🙂
